CB earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Wayne State University and a Ph.D. in Bioanalytical Chemistry from Florida State University. He worked as a postdoc at the University of Arizona and Sandia Naional Labs, and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennssee, Knoxville. He joined the faculty at NMSU in Fall 2020.
